Pemigewasset River Tubing
Last year when the kids came to visit we happened upon this spot in N. Woodstock where you could tube down some rapids. Well, they didn't have tubes and went down without them. They had fun, but got a little banged up. So this year, we came prepared! We borrowed some tubes from Water Country and off they went. My Mom and I went shopping so we missed the big adventure, but this is what we heard:
Apparently, because of all the rain we've had the rapids were a little faster than the year before. Nobody else was tubing this year. Hmm, first clue? Apparently the kids still got bumped and bruised and Nathan lost his glasses trying to keep Treasure from floating away in her tube. Sorry, no photos of the crazy action. My Dad had the camera and was trying to watch Cameron at the same time. But enjoy these photos of everyone taking it easy in the kiddie area of the river!
