Olivia's First Bottle

The time came for Olivia to try her first bottle. Cameron helped Nana give it to her. As Cameron did before her, she took it like a champ, much to my suppressed disappointment. But, she still prefers me to the bottle!

Nana Too

Here is my beautiful Nana with two of her many (in the 20s) great-grandchildren. Cameron calls her Nana Too!

I know I keep writing this, but my little baby is so grown up now. He doesn't need help climbing the stairs or sliding down the slide. I just need to keep up with him, which was difficult at times. The playground is great. There is one section that is designed for smaller children, which is what you see in the photos. The slides are shorter and there are no open spaces with "Fire Poles" or other danger zones. Then there is this larger section which I have no photos of because it is filled with ramps and twists and turns and danger. If I paused for a second to take a picture I was afraid Cameron would leap off the side. He and Mia were running (in opposite directions, of course) back and forth on the ramps. Tom and I took turns watching each other's child as they ran by each other. It was exhausting! The sweater Cameron has on is one that his Great Grammy made when Damien and his uncles were babies. It's the first time that one of them has fit during the right season and it looks so cute!

I Love Books!

I have been reading to Cameron since the day he was born so it is not surprising that he loves to sit and read. He's so funny lately. He sits on the floor or chair or wherever and opens the book and points and turns pages like he is really reading the words. Of course, he still likes it when someone reads to him!

All By Myself!

It's amazing the milestones that occur in my little man's life! They are things that I take for granted like eating a whole bowl of yogurt with a spoon all by himself and building a block tower while Mommy is in the other room reading a book. Simple things, but truly amazing!

Please try to ignore my disgusting dogs making out in the background. As Cameron would say, "Bad dog!"

The Chair and Uncle Nate

A milestone! Cameron can climb up on chairs (regular size, not toddler size) all by himself! It's pretty funny to watch him struggle and squirm his way up there. He thinks it's great when someone sits down next to him. Uncle Nate spent a couple nights at the house. Cameron can say his name. It kind of sounds like "neat" but it is definitely "Nate".
