Our 4th of July celebration was certainly nothing to write home about. It was just the kids and I. Being new in town, we did not have a party or BBQ to attend. We spent the day running errands, went to a park where it started thunderstorming, and then we waited until almost dark to light some sparklers. The kids had fun, despite how boring I thought the day was. Next year I will make sure I do it up big!!
