Monday was Cameron's first day of soccer. Monday was also Damien's first JV Football game as a Referee. (That's why he is dressed like that, in case you were wondering.)
Our neighboring town's Park and Rec department offers a youth soccer program (for free) for pre-schoolers. It is mainly instructional and mostly fun! Our city does not offer soccer for children under 6, which is fine with me. I would rather not pay for it until I know he is going to love it. Of course, Cameron was so excited that he put his shin guards and socks on at 2:00, even though it did not start until 5:30.
The coach is very good. There are a lot of kids that show up, but she makes sure to go around to each one and see how they are doing. Cameron is already dribbling and passing like a...4 year old! I'm just so happy he is having fun (and he can wear his awesome soccer jersey collection!)
So fun! Soccer is such a great sport for kids; they all really enjoy it! Love Cameron's outfit-- very authentic! : )
