Oh, it's time for some Cameron stories!

The Ugly Thing

Cameron was in the living room after a bath. He was supposed to be getting himself dressed when I heard him yell, "Mommy! There's something on my penis!" I went rather quickly into the living room thinking maybe a tick or something terrible. I asked him to let me look. I was looking at his penis and he started getting upset. "No, Mommy. Not that!" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about until he said, "Not my penis. The ugly thing under my penis!"


I Like Pig

Cameron has been very interested in where his food comes from. Even more interesting to him is the fact that I do not eat animals. Whenever we are eating he asks where each ingredient comes from. Most of the time it is from the ground because it is a vegetarian dish. But Cameron does eat meat when we go out or are at someone's house. He loves to announce to me that he is eating pig or some other animal.

One evening we were home eating dinner and he was asking me about the ingredients as usual. Then he said that he likes to eat meat. "That's fine," was my reply. He asked if Daddy likes meat and I said yes. He asked if Grampa likes meat, and I said yes. He continued down the list of just about everyone he knows until I said, "I'm the only one who doesn't eat meat." My darling boy responded:

"That's OK, Mommy. You'll get there."
