Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I actually forgot today was St. Patrick's Day, but by chance dressed Cameron in green for school.

My friend Lindsay keeps leaving this hat at different houses. Cameron came home from school and found it and was so excited. He wore it for the rest of the day, and even took it to bed with him. He calls it his leprechaun hat.

We had a conversation about the hat that went like this:

Cameron: "Mommy, is this hat old?"

Me: "No, I don't think it's old."

Cameron: "But Lindsay thinks it's old. She doesn't want it, right?"

Me: "Oh. Yes, it is very old."

Cameron: "So, I can keep it."

Me: "I don't think Lindsay will mind."

And off he trotted, as happy as a little leprechaun!

When Daddy got home today we went for a nice, leisurely walk to the natural foods store to buy the kids a St. Patrick's Day treat. Of course, they were sporting their awesome puddle boots and jumped in every puddle along the way!

Olivia really had fun throwing snow into the air and watching it fall!

We found a dinosaur footprint in the Shang Hai parking lot. Really! Cameron saw it and it really looks like a dino footprint. The kids spent some time investigating.

Almost at the natural food store. The kids love walking on this wall. It is the highlight of their walk. Well, that and the special treat.

My boys. Cameron chose Sun Drops as his special treat. Yum!

Commence puddle jumping!

We even gave Olivia her very own bag of Sun Drops.

In the car on the way to Grammy and Paw Paw's house, Olivia tried her hardest to get Cameron to say "cheese" for the camera.

After many failed attempts, she chose to mock his thumb sucking instead.

The beaded lady...

Doing an Irish jig on Grammy and Paw Paw's "stage".

Olivia showing us some of her favorite dance moves. I think she looks a bit like a crazy little leprechaun in this photo!

Our girl has no fear and loves, loves, loves jumping. As Paw Paw said, if we let go of her hands she would still jump. It's a bit scary for the grown ups!

And of course, as always, we end the evening with some naked time! It usually doesn't involve the hat, though!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

I can't believe Olivia is going to be 2 soon.

    Time, it's a-flyin'!
