Today we celebrated the beloved children's author's birthday at our local library.
Driving in we saw the Cat in the Hat walking across the parking lot:
Me: "Kids, look, it's the Cat in the Hat!"
Olivia: "No Mommy, that's not the Cat in the Hat. That is a person dressed up like the Cat in the Hat."
I stand corrected.

ReplyDeleteMy husband went to our elementary school today and read "Green Eggs and Ham" and had a delicious green breakfast. I'm so thankful for great teacher who make learning fun.
