Is it possible to go to the park too much? No!! Absolutely not! If I mention the words "park" or "playground" Olivia, Benjamin and Kendall are at the door like puppies at the word "walk". It's hilarious. They are all whining for me to put on their coats, shoes and hats. Sometimes I just can't go fast enough for them. Cameron gets excited too, but he takes it all in stride. He plays with his toys while I'm getting everyone else ready, which is actually a HUGE help!
On Friday, Damien was off and the weather was gorgeous. We are so lucky that we have three different parks within walking distance to our house. We like to change it up every now and again to keep the kids interested (not a difficult task when it comes to parks). Friday we met my friend Lauren and her daughter Maria at Tardiff Park. It's our favorite, but I can only go there with another adult because it's too much park for one Mommy/caregiver with four kids to watch!
BFFs on the swings with Damey!
BFFs hangin' around.
Cameron picked the wrong shoes for the playground. Those wood chips are not conducive to Croc wearing! He knows for next time ;) And believe me, he'll remember. He's funny that way!
After a delicious snack of Honey Nut Os, cheddar crackers, banana and grapes (thanks Lauren), the "Cottage Street Gang" commandeered a poor little girl's sidewalk chalk and went to town. Well, they asked, and the sweet little girl was as gracious as she could be, with a pep talk from her Mommy. As long as they did not add to, sit on, or look at her drawings, all was well!
