There is a blog that I stalk through my friend Kim's blog and Jen posted this recipe that just looked and sounded so delicious. I had asparagus that needed to be eaten, so I thought, "What the heck!" I do not profess to be even a mediocre cook. I have to find simple recipes and have recently found that if I get too daring, nobody is pleased, including me. We had our friends Casey and Gretchen and Baby Emma over for dinner and I'm pretty sure they liked it. Thank you Jen for the Lemon Asparagus Penne recipe. It really was simple and delicious. I used whole wheat pasta and I don't have a fancy shredder, so my photo is not as pretty as yours, but it tasted so yummy!!!! We did serve it with a salad and tomato basil bread, cracked open some beeahs, and it was a perfect Thursday dinner with friends!

It does look yummy...substitute some gluten free pasta...and we've got a yummy meal for the Ouellette Clan...I will check out the recipe!! If I could I think I would eat it right off the computer...and I just finished eating...the joy of eating for three!! :)

You are welcome!! I felt so lucky to have enough time one night to look at that cookbook long enough to find such a simple recipe. I am glad you enjoyed it too! I found that the leftovers were also great and that black pepper was a nice addition. Stalk us anytime!
