Impromptu Picnic

This evening we decided, on a whim, to make egg salad sandwiches and head down to Weirs Beach for a picnic. The weather was perfect! We sat by the canal and ate our dinner and watched the boats drive into Lake Winnipesauke. Cameron and Olivia played in the grass and then we headed to the beach. Check out the group photo, it's the first time I used the timer on the camera and it came out perfect in one shot! Cameron had a blast getting as close as he could to the water without actually going in. They also took turns being lifeguards. We also were there just in time to see (and hear) the Mt. Washington leaving the dock. It was a lovely evening with my beautiful family! I am so blessed.
