Better Late Than Never
This morning Cameron and Damien gave me my Mother's Day gift. They installed a clothesline for me that goes from the back porch across to the end of the back yard. I'm so excited! I've been wanting one since we moved here. I love the smell of line-dried clothes and put it to use right away. Cameron was so cute with his wrench that "Daddy let me use" and pretending to measure things with the tape measure. The one condition I had to agree to is that I can't hang underpants on the line, which I wasn't planning on doing anyway.

I'm glad you had a nice Mother's Day. Love the picture of Cameron with the wrench, such a boy! Ian used to love using a tape measure, but he would hold it out and say something like "Okay, this 24 pounds!", it was so cute. He still loves using a tape measure, though he's much better at it now :)
ReplyDeleteWe should get together sometime soon.
Love,
Cammie
I'd love to be able to hang stuff outside, unfortunately due to Josh and I having allergies and asthma, we would be worse if our clothes hung out and collected all that unseen pollen in the fibers of the clothes. So, we hang what we can in the house...maybe I could put up a rope from the kitchen to the living room...:)
ReplyDeleteYour dad would be proud of you - I love the smell of clothes from the line as well.
ReplyDeleteWe must think alike - I had Brian buy one for me too! I do love the smell of line-dried clothes. And the thought of not having to pay for the enormous electric bill doesn't hurt!
