The Beach

Last Tuesday I had the day off from watching Mia and Ben, and my Dad had the day off, so we went to the beach. It was VERY windy, but Cameron had a lot of fun. I was holding Olivia in the sling, so there is only one (very terrible) photo of her, taken by me. My Dad was very tired after about an hour of running back and forth on the beach with Cameron. While we were there we met a man, his baby and their dog. Making small talk I asked how old his baby was. "10 1/2 months" was his reply. "Oh, that's how old Olivia is. When was he born?" "May 16th" was his reply. "No kidding. That's when she was born." It was pretty neat. Cameron had to go potty and was very excited to go on the rocks. It was a Grampa/Cameron bonding moment I'm sure they will both remember forever, Grampa telling Cameron, "Now don't pee into the wind, it will come back and hit you in the face." We went to Newick's Seafood Restaurant for lunch and Cameron got to see real lobsters. I'm so excited for summer beach trips, and Water Country. I just can't wait!

  1. We took Dominic to the beach in Florida and he loved it! He keeps asking to go but I keep pointing at the ice and tell him we have to wait until it gets hot. Thankfully the ice is finally leaving!

  2. Ahhhh....these are the memories that will last a lifetime....

  3. I love seeing pictures of your dad with your kids. He is such a good grandpa!

I love comments!
