Two weeks ago I had a little time to myself and I decided to go for a small hike. Hiking the 4000-footers is wonderful, but it is nice to just go for a walk in the woods, just for the sake of walking in the woods. With camera in hand I headed to Franconia, a place near and dear to my heart, to try to take a nice photo of a waterfall. In the short time that I lived above the notch I never actually hiked Bridal Veil Falls, but had always wanted to. It's a 2 1/2 mile hike. Short with no real incline to speak of the hike is nothing to write home about. But, the end of the trail is met with the beauty that is the Bridal Veil Falls.
