Something different! I decided to try my hand at the poor man's macro. I have tried it once before with some flowers I bought, but I was not impressed. Maybe it is because I do not really know flowers. But, I do know yarn! Here is the reverse side of the ballet sweater I am working on in macro. I love how the little stray strands catch the light and almost glitter!
Something exciting happened today! Thank you all so much for your comments and encouragement on yesterday's post. I really was feeling blue and uninspired and tired. I know we all have gone through it, so all I really needed was to go on here and look at all of your fantastic blogs for a little pick me up. It helped, along with your comments. But, something else happened. Over at 365project, yesterday's photo of Olivia's shoes made the popular page! I know it seems like such a trivial thing to be excited about, but if you saw the caliber of photos that make the popular page, you would understand why I am so thrilled. I look at that page daily for inspiration and am always in awe. To have people like my photo that much (a photo that I was not feeling great about) that it made the popular page, well it really lifted my spirits at the most perfect time.
Congrats on your 365project accolade! That is really cool and I'm super happy for you!
ReplyDeleteYay for you! That's a fantastic job and wonderful way to highlight your great work!
ReplyDeleteWay to go!! Congrats on the 365project recognition! That is awesome!! I know how you feel about being down and tired, especially of this project! I went through the same thing last year and had some amazing support from other 365er's. It's an amazing group of ladies!! Love your "poor mans" macro :O)
