The other day at breakfast I was telling Olivia about the Keene Pumpkin Festival. We went last year and the year before, and the year before that, but for some reason she was having a hard time remembering. I reminded her about carving pumpkins with Grampa and dressing up in her costume and getting candy and seeing all the pumpkins all over the street. It was not until I mentioned the pumpkin flavored cotton candy that the light went on. "Oh, yeah! I remember that." She remembers getting the cotton candy all over her face and licking it off with her tongue. Her stories always come with a reenactment.
